A winner for big noggins

I read some reviews that said these were too big but as I have a big head I thought I’d give them a try and they are probably the best fitting safety glasses I’ve tried 👌

Pretty but too wide

I'm assuming it's a female model and thought they'd be female size... but they're too wide and just slip down constantly... kinda don't want to wear them as it's a pain to push them up every minute specially if I'm in the middle of a task

Apart from that they're pretty and seem alright...

Love them!

I’m light sensitive and find it painful driving late afternoon when the light it coming in the side of my eyes…these have stopped this & have made driving at that time of day so much more comfortable. I’m recommending them to other light-sensitive people I know.

Frequently asked questions

Are Harps certified safety glasses?
Yes. Harps are independently certified to AS/NZS 1337.1, the Australian and New Zealand standard for occupational eye protection, at medium impact level. The frame and lens are tested to withstand a 6mm steel ball at 45 m/s, along with optical clarity, coverage and durability requirements. Look for the five-tick StandardsMark on the packaging or frame, and if your workplace needs proof, you can download our certificate from the Certifications page on our website. Please note: medium impact safety glasses aren't designed for chemical splash, welding or high-impact tasks that call for goggles or a face shield, so always check your site's PPE requirements.
What is the polarised lens best for, and when shouldn't I use it?
The polarised lens is built for bright sun and harsh reflected glare off water, roads, glass and metal, making it ideal for outdoor trades, daytime driving, fishing and boating, with full UV400 protection. It also has an oleophobic coating that helps water, oils and fingerprints slide off. Keep in mind that polarised lenses can make some LCD screens (phones, machinery displays and some car dashboards) look dark or patchy at certain angles. If you read screens all day, a tinted lens may suit you better. Not suitable indoors, in low light or at night.
Will Harps fit me?
Harps are a larger fit. They channel iconic retro style with an accentuated brow bar for a bold, statement look, and they suit medium to larger faces best. Harps are a favourite with women who love a standout frame, but if you have a smaller face or prefer a more compact fit, we recommend our smaller designs like Cruisers or Classics, which give you the same certified protection in a frame that sits closer to your face. Note that Harps need our XL Hard Case, as the standard case won't fit. Frame measurements are in the sizing guide on this page.
What are Harps made of, and will the lenses scratch or fog?
Harps have impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses in a lightweight, metal-free frame, and the lenses are hard-coated on both sides to resist scratches. No safety lens is scratch-proof, so rinse off dust and grit, then clean with lens cleaner and a microfibre cloth rather than your shirt, and store them in the supplied pouch or a hard case. Lenses can fog when you move between temperatures, wear a mask or work up a sweat, and our Anti-Fog Spray helps keep them clear.
Can I wear these over my prescription glasses?
Harps aren't designed to fit over regular glasses. Stacking two pairs compromises fit, narrows your peripheral vision and makes fogging more likely. The better option is prescription Harps: the same retro brow-bar frame with your prescription built into certified safety lenses. You'll find them in our Prescription range.
What warranty do these come with?
These are covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of purchase. If SafeStyle confirms a fault, we'll replace the pair with the same product, or offer a credit or refund if it's unavailable. To claim, email enquiries@safestyle.com.au with your order number, a description of the fault and photos. The warranty doesn't cover scratches or damage from incorrect cleaning or storage (including storing them outside the supplied pouch), drops, heat damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or loss or theft. If you bought from a stockist or retailer, please make your claim through the store you purchased from. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Can I return or exchange them?
Yes. Returns and exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order, and items must be unworn, in original 100% re-saleable condition and in their original packaging. Start your return through the Returns Portal on our website, where you can choose an exchange, store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Return shipping is free if you selected "Pay Now to Unlock Free Returns" or "Checkout+" at checkout; otherwise it's at your own cost. Refunds can take up to 14 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Damaged or worn items can't be returned.
