Art Series

SafeStyle has partnered with artist Abby Duncan, a proud Koori woman, for the next instalment of the Art Series V.3. This artwork represents Abby’s personal journey, inspired by her travels and shaped by the feelings and stories she expresses through art. It captures her connection to country through colour, animals, and landscapes, with strong expressions of oceans and rivers that have had a major influence on her life.

“This painting represents my own personal journey, as a proud Koori girl. My travels inspired this piece, shaped by the feelings and stories I’ve expressed through art. Showing my own expression of my country and my style of art through colours, animals and the landscapes. Especially my use of colours which I love to use with big expressions of the ocean and rivers, which have had such a massive impact on my life.”

$5 from each pair is donated to Lions Outback Vision. A small group of travelling eye health professionals with a mission to prevent blindness and vision loss by improving access to quality eye health care for regional, remote and Indigenous Western Australians.
