No, SafeStyle®️ prescription safety glasses must be bought as a complete unit with frame and lenses made together. Supplying the frame or lens separately voids our safety certification and does not comply to the Australian Standards. The TRXE frames used for prescription are a different material designed to withstand the fitting process and provide a comfortable wearing experience specific to our prescription customers. Fitting a prescription lens to a non-prescription frame not only voids the certification (safety properties of the pair) but also voids any warranty.

If your order is less than 1 hour from time of purchase, please contact enquiries@SafeStyle.com.au for assistance. Otherwise, if your SafeStyle®️ prescription safety glasses have started in the manufacturing process, or have already been shipped to you, there is no option to change any details. Changing the
frame or lens on an existing pair, voids the safety certification and does not
comply with Australian Standards and also voids the warranty.

All SafeStyle®️ prescription safety lenses are produced with materials that meet Australian Standards for impact resistance. For those with a higher prescription, it is not possible to thin the lenses. Higher Index materials are needed for thinner lenses; however, these materials can’t be used due to there lack of impact protection. 

If your SafeStyle®️ prescription safety glasses need adjustment - head to one of our prescription stockists, they should be able to reshape the frames to your liking!

Our frames are made from highly durable Grillamid TR XE.

Our lenses are made from highly durable polycarbonate and Trivex (Pheonix) materials.
