That age-old adage “Rome wasn’t built in a day” may be a cliché but everyone has start somewhere. From humble beginnings we began shipping protective eyewear from our bedroom. With support from our amazing community of customers SafeStyle quickly outgrew our original worksite. Well that, and Dad wanted us out of the house. Fast-forward a few years and we’re growing rapidly and need to put out a call for help.

With our roots firmly planted in home soil, we collaborate with some of the biggest names in Australia and seek to a set a footprint globally. Our team is seeking a multi-talented individual to join us as a Photographer, Videographer and Content Creator. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and creating high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and messaging. You will play a vital role in developing and executing our visual marketing strategy across various platforms, including social media, website, and email marketing.

As the Photographer, Videographer and Content Creator, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in photography, videography and content creation. You will be responsible for delivering images and videos that encapsulate the brand's essence and messaging.

As an in-house photographer/videographer, you will work collaboratively with the marketing and design teams to develop and execute photo and video projects that align with the company's branding and messaging. You will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of photo and video shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and backdrops. Additionally, you will be expected to edit and retouch photos and videos to ensure they are of the highest quality and meet the company's standards. As part of your role, you will also be required to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in photography and videography.

We all got em. Skills that put the bank in the back pocket. As our new Photographer, Videographer and Content Creator you’ll possess the following:

  • 3+ years experience behind the lens shotting product photo/video
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in photography, videography, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We are looking for a creative, passionate and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand's messaging and aesthetic. If you are someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and has a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you!

We know it is hard to tick all the boxes (so don’t worry to much if you don’t) but if you wanted to upgrade your status to full-blown legend you’ll be around the points below:

  • Prior experience taking product photography in a studio environment
  • Deep understanding of social media
  • Experience managing various social media platforms and understanding how to drive engaging via content
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to organise photoshoots with minimal direction and short timelines.

Will include managing the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and compelling visual content that tells the brand story and resonates with our target audience.
  • Organise product photoshoot including locations, models and props required.
  • Work closely with our design team to align content with creative output.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos that align with our brand's aesthetic and messaging.
  • Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with the brand's messaging and marketing objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in photography, videography, and content creation.
